Student Review: A Million Little Pieces by James Frey

James Frey is a wonderful author whose writing makes you feel like you’re taking the journey with James & Lilly during their battle to sobriety and a love filled with hardships. This book manages to create such strong emotions towards the story’s characters. This non-fiction and suspenseful book is a page turner, for sure! Read A Million Little Pieces to hear about James’ journey. You would like this book if you like books about substance abuse and romance.

National Day of Silence: Friday, April 19, 2013

The National Day of Silence is a day of action in which students across the country vow to take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools. This silence not only serves as a memorial to the hundreds of students that have taken their own lives due to anti-LGBT bullying by reminding us of the voices we will never hear again but also challenges us to think of ways to end the silence that often accompanies bullying. For more information about National Day of Silence, visit In addition, you can research information about issues pertinent to the LGBT community and find ways to support your fellow Dragons at the campus library.
