Laurie Halse Anderson describes the struggles of a girl trying to overcome past events. The main character, Melinda, has an internal struggle trying to show her real colors. I recommend this book for anybody who enjoys relating to characters. In fact, you would really like this book if you like… 13 Reasons Why.
