One Book, One Community: WONDER by R. J. Palacio, Ctd.

On Monday, February, 10, 2014, R. J. Palacio, author of Wonder, will visit Round Rock, Texas, where she will present to students, staff, and community members at two different times. 

The first presentation will take place at the Round Rock Indoor Sports Center from 12:00 -1:00 PM. RRHS will be able to send 50 people to see her speak for this presentation, and transportation for the attendees will be arranged by the librarians. In order to attend, students need to:
  • have read Wonder
  • be in good academic standing by maintaining a minimum average of 70% in ALL of their classes
  • submit a permission form by 9:00 AM on Monday, January, 27, 2014.

The second presentation will take place at the Round Rock High School Cafeteria from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. This presentation is open to the public and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. There is no cost for this presentation, but participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event.
