A teenager named Thomas is dropped into a new place. This place, the glade, is surrounded by an infamous maze. Thomas and the other kids and teenagers had to learn to survive on their own, with no help from any adult that knows what is going on. However the maze is all controlled by a group called WICKED. This group is using teenagers for testing and just replacing those who die. Thomas and his friends have to try to learn the maze and escape it before time runs out... and all hope is lost. I definitely recommend this book to others due to its nonstop action. The author makes you want to keep reading the book all day until you finish it and then you will want to go to the next book in the series. The book has many unexpected twists and turns that will keep you interested until you finish the entire series. You would like this book if you like books that have a dystopian setting and are filled with action. I also recommend this book to anyone who liked the Divergent series due to the similar themes and the similar setting.
