Student Review: THE INCREMENT by Chris Ryan

Imager from Amazon.com

Matt Browning is a former SAS operative who got himself into a deep financial problem. A year earlier, he was sent on a black-op mission, by MI6. The mission was to take out an Al Queda merchant ship, and he would be awarded 10 million dollars. Now a new person from MI6 has deployed Matt to help destroy a factor for a pharmaceutical company. Afterwards, he is sent to kill the last remaining enemy of the company but when he does, he finds out about a "bravery drug." He wants to find out more about this drug since there has been recent reports of people going crazy. When he starts to find out more about this drug, he starts to unravel a mystery, that the people at the head of it, don't want anyone to know about. Because of this, a mole in MI6 sends the most lethal killing force after him, The Increment. He has to escape, capture, and run to be able to survive. Then he plans one last stand that could make him victorious. I definitely recommend this book to others because it is full on non-stop action. It becomes really addictive to read Chris Ryan's books after you read one, and every single one offers a new experience. His books also make you feel intense emotion, and sometimes you feel more tense than the main character does.  You would like this book if you like action packed books that have to do with special operations. It would be a good read for anyone interested in military tactics or just interested in what happens in special operation missions.
