America Singer was an average 16 year old in the country of Illéa, which was created by the leftovers the United States after World War III. One day she received a letter saying she was chosen for the Selection along with 35 other girls. The Selection is a competition where the girls have a chance to live in the palace and compete to win Prince Maxson’s heart and be the next queen. But for America being chosen was a nightmare because she’s already in love with Aspen and doesn’t want to leave him for the prince. As the Selection goes on America finds herself falling in love with Prince Maxon. This book had a really good plot and i love romance books like this so I really enjoyed reading it. Overall, its a very entertaining book to read. You would like this book if you like romance books or any of the other books in this series.
