He falls in love with the rose, but then flees the planet and leaves the rose all alone when he realizes that she is vain. What follows is a series of unprecedented and mind-opening adventures that change the way a person perceives the world. Everyone should read this book because it makes you take a much-needed second look at the world around you. You would like this book if you like speculative fiction or philosophy.
