Student Review: Sir Gawain and the Green Knight by Foreman, Michael

Image from RRHS Catalog

Sir Gawain, a very noble knight, makes a deal with a giant green knight that if Gawain chops his head off he will give Sir Gawain the same punishment the following year on the same day. Sir Gawain accepts and chops the head of the Green knight off. To Gawain's surprise the Green knight gets up grabbing his head and walks out the door. Gawain must now find the green giant and confront his fate. I would recommend this book because it is a fun story with a great underlying message. You would like this book if you like fantasy.
