A mysterious girl has been living in the shadows her whole life until she decides to perform a flute solo at a funeral. From there she meets royalty and gets involved in a situation in where taking a wrong step can get her killed, and she finds the secret to her family's past. This book is a well written adventure that really fleshes out its world to a degree I have only seen in a few books. The lore of the story is pretty deep and interesting, and the events in the story are pretty good too as it takes a rags to riches story and blends it with spy novels to make a nice plot outline. You would like this book if you like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit.
