Josh and his brother, Jordan, are kings of the basketball court and excited to start the new season. The two are inseparable and always have each other´s back on the court. However, when the season starts, a rift starts to form between them when Jordan starts to date the new girl at school and Josh´s dad begins to develop a serious cough. As tensions rise between Josh and his brother on the court and his Dad´s cough only growing stronger, Josh struggles to move on with his day and play basketball freely. This book possesses incredible poetic prose and great themes that can be applied to everyday life. The book contains deep emotional problems that everyday people can relate to, mixed highly inspirational and simply fun basketball. Alexander´s writing takes you to the game, and gives you the biggest rush fueled by its exhilarating characters. You would like this book if you like Jordan Sonnenbick, sports books, and Heat.
