Student Review: One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus

Image from RRHS Catalog

A group of teenagers all end up in detention together. However, when one of them dies in detention, it's up to the rest of the group to find out what exactly happened, who is posting their secrets, and clear their names as suspects. This book is AMAZING. There is always something happening, and it never gets boring. The plot is always changing and keeps you thinking. No matter how much you theorize, you can never figure out what will happen next. The ending is unexpected, the characters are relatable, and the book has good character development. I recommend this book to anyone, especially fans of mystery.
