Jacob is a teenage boy with a special connection his grandfather. However, when his grandfather dies, he goes on a quest to understand many mysteries about his life, must make life-changing decisions along the way, and embarks on a journey in a completely new world that his grandfather was secretly a part of since his childhood. The plot is intense and the characters that you're introduced to all have dynamic and varying personalities, which makes for some special moments. You would like this book if you like Harry Potter, fantasy, JK Rowling, Maze Runner, futuristic/science-fiction, or James Dashner.
