Student Review: Hollow City by Ransom Riggs [Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Bk. 2]

After Miss Peregrine's loop was raided, the peculiars set out on an adventure to heal Miss Peregrine of her sustained bird state. Through much trouble in the Welsh country side and the discovery of interesting loops, they finally make it only to have their hopes dashed. I recommend the sequel to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children to anyone who's even mildly interested in reading. I have yet to find someone who has read this book and not enjoyed it. That just shows how amazing this book is! It does an excellent job of expanding the universe and establishing characters that weren't given much of the spotlight in the first novel. Overall a 4.9 out of 5 star book in my opinion and a great read. If you liked the first book, you'll love this one. And you would like this book if you like... modern fantasy, realistic fiction, and most types of fiction.
