In Sandra Uwiringiyimana’s How Dare the Sun Rise, she tells the story of her early childhood in the Democratic Republic of Congo, her immigration to the United States following a massacre of her refugee camp, and how she dealt with the loss of members of her family in a foreign and new place. I would recommend this book to others because it is a great book.
