Ellie is a 12 year old girl living with a life altering disease. This disease makes her life bound to a wheelchair and weakens her immune system. Now this does not dappen Ellie's style. She still gets around everywhere and makes plenty of new friends. People often feel useless, but with the help of others they may experience that they can help so many people in very unique ways. I definitely recommend this book. It can really change your perspective on how much we take advantage of our life. The fact that we can walk to our next class. We can sit in a desk with ease. The small things that so many people can't do. You would enjoy this book if you like books about disabilities. It would also be enjoyable if you like realistic fiction because it brings in a made up story with real life problems people live with.
