In Houston in the 1960's a black family from a very poor neighborhood and a white family from a very racist neighborhood move past prejudice and overcome humiliation and betrayal to free 5 black college students who were wrongly charged for shooting a police officer. I recommend this book because it tells the captivating true story about people overcoming racism and paving the way for equality in their city. You would like this book if you like thrillers and true stories--also if you are interested in learning about the civil rights movement of the 1960's
