Earth in the future has suffered from ecological disasters and wars. A United Nations artificial intelligence has taken control of orbital weapons platforms in order to save mankind from itself. One of the methods of control also includes keeping hostages from each nations ruling family. This is the story of a group of these children and how they try and survive circumstances beyond their control. This is a definite must read. The plot was very original and entertaining. I would read again. You would like this book if you like… Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.
