April marks the beginning of Autism Awareness Month, and Tuesday, April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day, sometimes referred to as “Light It Up Blue” Day. In order to show our support to individuals with Autism, wear a blue shirt in support of Autism Awareness. For more information about Autism Spectrum Disorders, visit your campus library to research the issues surrounding Autism, find more information about the disorder, and find ways to support your peers and community members with ASDs.
