Before I read Looking for Alaska I had very little background information, but I believe that’s why I became so engaged. Pudge starts his junior year of high school with a new campus and roommate. Pudge’s parents always warn him not to indulge himself in inappropriate behavior which foreshadows future events. Pudge falls for a young girl named Alaska, but after a night of too much to drink, somethings goes terribly wrong. You would like this book if you like… romance & mystery.
