Teachers, join us for the 2013-14 Teacher Book Club and you will get FREE BOOKS! We have chosen 6 titles (one per grading period). We will be giving you the first three books before you leave for the summer, so you will have plenty of time to read them. These books are yours to keep, as long as you attend the discussion club meetings.
We will meet once each grading period to discuss the book, and we will provide snacks related to the book we are reading. This should be a lot of fun! We will also discuss some techniques for you to use to help students with reading comprehension. Our goal is to provide you with books that will help you connect with your students and and tools to use in your classroom.
You will receive one hour of Professional Development for each discussion group you attend. Meetings will be held after school from 4:30-5:30 PM - day of the week TBD.
